Join us for our Monthly Omakase dinners! Held on the last Wednesday of the month, these five-course dinners in our izakaya are unique one-of-a-kind experiences, meticulously curated by our chefs and amazing kitchen team with the freshest and most delicious ingredients. Each month will feature a new theme, along with optional drink pairing menus.

STAFF MEAL Omakase:
APRIL 24

Join us for our staff-inspired omakase, lovingly dubbed "Staff Meal,” this April 24! When looking for inspiration for our upcoming monthly omakases, we asked the folks already doing the work – our charming bartenders crafting cocktail pairings, our line cooks firing the next course, & the rest of our talented team who help bring these five course dinners to life. They've collaborated with our chefs for all aspects of this April meal & we can't wait to see the exquisite menu they've dreamed up. 

WHISKEY Omakase: MAY 29

Our 2023 Whisky Omakase was such a hit that we’ve brought it back this May, in celebration of World Whiskey Day! Though we don’t really need a reason to drink delicious whiskey, it’s a great addition to the festivities we’ve got planned! 

For our second installment in this now-annual omakase, we’ve partnered with our friends at Bull City Bourbon Club, a local non-profit facilitating good pours from top tier whiskey distillers. Our chefs have thoughtfully created five courses to amplify the unique notes of each selected whiskey, creating a balanced & boozy omakase experience you won’t want to miss!

Please note:

  • Once you have made a reservation through Wisely, you should receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive that email within 24 hours please contact us.

  • Cancellations in less than 48 hours of the event incurs a $10 charge per guest.

  • For our special monthly omakase events, we prepare a vegetarian menu in addition to the original menu. Other dietary restrictions are not accommodated for these special omakase events. We are not able to accommodate day-of substitutions. Please note how many guests in your party will require a vegetarian meal when making your reservation.

  • DRINK PAIRINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL $35.

  • A GRATUITY OF 20% WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO YOUR FINAL BILL.

  • OUR RAMEN SHOP WILL BE OPEN REGULAR HOURS WITH OUR FULL DINNER MENU.

ABOUT THE OMAKASE DINING EXPERIENCE

In an izakaya, (Japanese pub), ordering omakase entrusts your order to the chef - it is essentially a chef’s tasting menu.  Our chefs will send out the freshest and most delicious dishes of the day. Dining omakase is a way for Dashi to showcase our finest ingredients and techniques!

This dinner is hosted in our upstairs izakaya and is offered by reservation only.


WHAT IF MEMBERS OF MY PARTY HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

We usually prepare a vegetarian menu in addition to the standard menu, unless otherwise noted on our reservation page. Menus with other dietary restrictions may not be available. All dietary restrictions should be noted when booking a reservation, as we are not able to accommodate day-of substitutions. Please note how many guests in your party will require a vegetarian meal. Guests with specific allergies may not be able to eat all courses.
